Leg 4 UNNT UIII (Tolmachevo - Irkutsk)

Take off from rwy 25 in Tolmachevo with ATC support was smooth. Weather was nice. Time 1155Zulu. In my hometown Riga was still daytime, but in the middle of Russia it is already night. En route we have tailwind fro 15 to 8 kts. Our cruising altitude as in all previous legs is 25000ft.

During first approach there was quite low visibility and we were forced to go arround. Our second approach was successful. Next leg will be from  Moscow to Ufa and we are estimating to depart in few hours.

Preparing aircraft for the longest trip ever made by De Havilland Canada DHC-8-402Q Dash 8

I would like to introduce you with the project where I and some other folks from Latvia Vatsim will fly DH8D in World Tour where the main task will be round trip with crossing the equator. Here you can see how it will looks in Great Circle Mapper
 DH8D cockpit view, wher we will run over 37000km. Flight will be processed within Microsoft Flight Simulator X.
Our starting airport EVRA (Riga International airport) what is original airBaltic home. We will use Majestic Software MJC8 Q400 with virtual airBaltic livery.
